Required as soon as possible, St John's Church PCC, the Eccleston Team and the Diocese of Liverpool warmly invite applications from members of the clergy who are interested in becoming the next Vicar of Ravenhead. There are four clergy posts to cover the five Churches of the Eccleston Team - you will be one of three Team Vicars who work alongside the Team Rector.

Overview

St John's, Ravenhead is an exciting challenge for a minister who feels called to be our new vicar. There is untapped potential in the Church and you will be able to call on a number of dedicated volunteers to assist you in your ministry.

Our Parish Profile is available to download below. We hope you will find the document covers everything you need to know, but please do browse our website and get in touch with us or the Diocese of Liverpool if you have any questions.

St John's has a stable congregation which, even during interregnum, is showing signs of growth and renewal. We continue to try and nurture this while awaiting our new Vicar and are starting to see the early fruits of our 'Project 2019' - a series of aims that we hope to achieve by our 150th anniversary on 27 December 2019. A copy of the Project 2019 aims booklet is also available to download from this page.

Thank you for considering Ravenhead. You may be assured of our prayers as you seek God's will for the next stage of your life, career and ministry.
